Welcome message from the Chairs of SES 2025

On behalf of the SES 2025 Committee, we are pleased to welcome you all to its inaugural edition on April 15 – 18, 2025, hosted in the wonderful city of Paris, France.

Since its inception, the SES conference aims to bring forward future visions for creating even greater value in all corners of the smart energy research society. This year, SES 2025 will center around the “Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Smart Energy” theme, focusing on its applications in emerging energy systems and networks. This encompasses addressing the challenges and opportunities of AI to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and innovation in smart energy technologies. The integration of AI into smart energy management is a crucial advancement, as it offers the potential to revolutionize how we manage and optimize energy resources.
